One accumulates a a surprising quantity of “stuff” in 30 years. We finally decided to move to a smaller house after our children left home, so we needed a considerable amount of help to move the entire contents of our five bedroomed house. The necessity to go to two locations- a storage unit for some of the things and then to our new house, complicated things somewhat for us, but the movers did not see this as a problem at all. They were so organised that with our direction, they were able to pack what was coming off the house last (the stuff going in the house), first and the things getting unloaded first, last. This meant that unpacking the first lot of things at the storage unit was quick and easy. We did nothing apart from supervise to ensure that they had taken everything that needed to be taken. All of our most precious items and furniture arrived safe and sound at our new home without a scratch or a mark. The whole day was very well orchestrated to get us moved in the shortest time possible. The moving men were polite and efficient and I would recommend them to anyone. It was well worth the price.
