Bloomsbury is part of the London Borough of Camden, and dates back as far as 1086, which is an impressive feat! Famed for its many beautiful garden squares (including Russell Square, Bedford Square, Torrington Square, and of course, Bloomsbury Square itself), this area of London is a removals companys dream, with its wide roads and ample parking. It could be your dream too and its not as out of reach as you might think. House prices are relatively good, if you look hard enough. Although the average property price for flats and terraced houses in Bloomsbury is over one million pounds, there are little gems available for much lower prices.
Apart from the stunning scenery and outdoor space, there are many reasons. Bloomsbury is full of cultural and iconic buildings and museums for a start. Theres the British Museum and the Royal Academy of Dramatic art, as well as the Queen Elizabeth II Great Court and Montagu House. Modern and traditional designs combine to make Bloomsbury a fascinating place to live. Which leads nicely onto the number of education facilities in the area; the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, The Bloomsbury Colleges, The University of London, and the London Contemporary Dance School to name just a few. These seats of learning help to keep the area diverse culturally as well as helping to make it an interesting place to live.
Bloomsbury is close to Waterloo Bridge and London Bridge, gateways to London, but it also has links to the A2, M2, and A204, all important roads for getting to and from the city. As Virginia Woolf, a member of the famous literary Bloomsbury Group, once said; You cannot find peace by avoiding life. And since there is a lot of life in Bloomsbury, why not book a removals company, bring your possessions, and find some peace?
