We've used Parish 4 times over the years and always been happy with them. Until something went a little wrong this time and they ran a mile. Unpacked a few boxes a little late to find some things broken and approached Parish as we took out the insurance. Quick as a flash we got a 'Without Prejudice' email from Mr Parish saying that the insurance wasn't valid as we hadn't unpacked/reported it within 7 days. Who unpacks everything in the first week after moving? And the speed/manner at which he distanced them from helping in any way was at odds with the whole 'family values' approach they portray. Be careful, get your own insurance and don't rely on Parish to help you if anything goes amiss. The guys who do the removals are always great though; head office could learn a few things from them in our opinion. |
