We were moving so booked with AMS 2 weeks in advance. The day before the move they phone up wanting to come early, we explained that we wouldn't have the keys to the new place at that time, which they seemed to begrudgingly except but a few hours later the proprietor calls up angrily claiming we booked him for 5 hours (we were moving out from a Victorian 2 up 2 down!) and that he couldn't do business this way, so would not be doing the move. But 2 minutes later he sent an accidental message saying "got ride of it" so one must presume the truth is something better came along and keeping a booking just didn't seem worth it. No removal but a great deal of harrasment. I certainly wouldn't recomend them. |
